Together with the highest point of the island, the Roque de los Muchachos (2426m), 12 other up to 2,000m high peaks form an imposing massif at the northern edge of the basin.
On various walking routes along the impressive crater rim you will be offered breathtaking views of the caldera. At the Roque de los Muchachos is one of Europe's largest observatories, the "Observatorio Astrofisico".
Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy diving, sailing, surfing, deep sea fishing and unforgettable whale watching boat trips.
